
Amazing opportunity for an experienced Professional to join Horseware, the world’s leader in equestrian branded goods, employing 750 persons worldwide & exporting more than 90% of its production to Europe, USA & UK.
We are looking for a business leader, an ambassador, to join us in a senior capacity who will provide strategic leadership throughout our company.
Reporting to the CEO & a member of the Board of Management, the CCMO will play a key role in shaping & implementing the Horseware company strategy & all ancillary brands.
The Role
- Work directly with the CEO, Board and Management team to develop world class commercial, brand, marketing & activation strategy for the Horseware brands.
- Act as a liaison between the sales & marketing function to ensure company objectives are realised.
- Give strategic leadership and support across the Sales & Marketing function.
- Develop & implement commercial strategies that will accelerate growth – mindful of company goals & objectives.
- Monitor & ensure needs of existing & new customers are met & exceeded.
- Conduct Market research & investigate competitors to access business opportunities & proactively deal with competitive & route to market threats.
- Collaborate & coordinate within departments (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing & R&D), ensuring efficiency within the various multi-dimensional, cross functional teams.
- Proactively monitor company performance to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Continual evaluation of the sales & marketing function with a focus on growing existing & new markets.
- Adopt a strong communication strategy throughout the organisation.
- Manage external relationships, as a face of the company at local, national & international events & media opportunities
Ideal background:
- Knowledge of equestrian environment an absolute advantage
- At least 7 years’ experience in a commercial / marketing / sales senior management position, ideally in a fast-moving, competitive consumer goods environment.
- Enthusiastic, can do professional combining creativity with organisational ability.
- A problem solver
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail, with a strong ability to multitask across a range of projects / departments
- Excited about the potential for the Horseware brand(s)
- Able to lead grow & develop teams of people from different functions / departments
- Affable, can get along internally & externally with customers.
